Dr. Dennis Ong is a technical/business advisor for the PRECISE Center and a technology executive at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he is responsible for enabling business and technology innovation targeted at Fortune 100 companies. His work at AWS also focuses on AI and cloud transformation, including helping organizations to leverage cutting-edge AI technology to create new applications.
A graduate of the University of Chicago (MBA) and Ohio State University (Ph.D. in Electrical and Computing Engineering), Ong previously led research teams at Verizon in developing the world’s first 5G/AI autonomous vehicle with Honda Research Institute. A frequent TEDx speaker and conference presenter, Ong also holds numerous patents related to 5G and AI technologies.
