Aiman Abdel-Malek, Ph.D. is chair of the Industry Advisory Board for the Penn Research in Embedded Computing and Integrated Systems Engineering (PRECISE) Center. A veteran senior executive, he has spent the last 25 years leading healthcare business teams to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions.

He is currently executive chairman of the advisory board of Thirdwayv Inc., a leading company in creating secure connected healthcare solutions, and also serves as board advisor to Biolinq, Inc., CuePath Innovation, and Cigniti Corporation.

Until his retirement in 2019, he was executive vice president and CTO at Insulet Corporation. Under his leadership, Insulet launched the first FDA-cleared, smartphone-controlled tubeless Insulin patch pump in the world. Prior to joining Insulet, Aiman served as president of Frictionless Life Analytics, Inc., a business development company that enables the growth of start-up ventures focused on secure Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) solutions. From 2012 to 2015, he served as vice president of engineering at Qualcomm Life, Inc., a mobile healthcare solutions Qualcomm subsidiary. From 1988 to 2012, he held various executive roles at General Electric.

Aiman holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California. He has over 30 patents and publications and is a frequent keynote speaker at various digital healthcare, secure IoT, and mobile digital healthcare forums.
